I'm a New York City–based, bi-coastal actor, singer, and dancer originally from Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
About Me
As an actor, I've had the pleasure of experiencing the ups and downs of the performing arts industry. Despite the challenges, I can confidently say that my journey has been fulfilling and worth every moment.
After witnessing Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Revelations at 7 years old, my passion for the performing arts was nurtured and I began training in ballet, tap, and jazz. After I had discovered the transformative power of movement and storytelling, I started performing through liturgical dance at my local church while appearing in community theatre productions, talent showcases, and modeling throughout my youth.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Fayetteville State University while performing professionally with Cape Fear Regional Theatre in my hometown. My portrayal of Flounder in Disney's The Little Mermaid earned me my first BroadwayWorld Award nomination for Best Featured Performer. Following graduation, I went on to receive my Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The University of Alabama, where I continued to refine my craft through rigorous classical and contemporary training.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working with some incredible artists and collaborators such as the acclaimed Stage & T.V. director, Sheldon Epps while also performing at some of the leading regional theatres in the country, including Syracuse Stage (salt/city/blues) and Capital Repertory Theatre (Fly) which helped shape me as an artist and deepened my passion for storytelling. In 2023, I made the decision to relocate to New York City to continue pursuing my career in theatre. One of the highlights of that journey has been making my Off-Broadway debut in Ceremonies in Dark Old Men alongside Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis.
I'm especially passionate about developing new work. My recent credits include The Falling Season, a new musical loosely inspired by the life and music of legendary Hip-Hop Artist, Masta Ace, and the world premiere of Go Down, Moses written by Dana Luise Goldstein. I find great joy in helping originate characters and bringing new stories to life from the very beginning of the creative process.
As an artist, my goal is to create work that is both entertaining and meaningful. Guided by my faith and a deep respect for the artists who paved the way before me, I hope to tell stories that inspire empathy, foster connection, and leave a lasting impact.
